We are a Venezuelan family that decided to migrate to the United States, a wonderful country with opportunities halfway through our first pregnancy. Filled with dreams but also doubts about what to expect from the pregnancy and the first months of our baby, we felt alone in a new country, without a place or people that could help us navigate through the uncertainties of pregnancy.
We soon realized that we were not the only ones who felt like this. For this reason, in 2014, we founded Little Bellies, a place to pamper pregnant women to welcome a new life.
Since then, thousands of pregnant women have found in Little Bellies a special place for them to meet their babies from the womb among their families. They can access ultrasounds, DNA tests, and a spa for pregnant women with special massages to relax their bodies and the growing pains. It's a paradise for pregnant women and an experience that welcomes all family members to their new lives.
Our growth has been organic. We started in Florida and now have locations nationwide.
The first franchises were owned by our employees, who saw the added value and innovation Little Bellies was bringing to families and wanted to open more of these safe havens for pregnant women.
We are a team of professionals, and we are lucky to have as our Chief Medical Officer, an ob-gyn with over 40 years of experience that ensures that the care we give to pregnant women is always the most timely. We have cared about pregnant women for many decades, even before becoming parents. My husband founded Embarazada.com, a community of millions of readers about all the doubts you can have about your baby and your body.
